Elizabeth Tamez Méndez
Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Tamez Méndez, originally from Mexico City, is the founder and Executive Director of NewGeneration3.org. Established in 2005, NG3 aims to "Connect People - Expand Perspectives - Shape the Future" by providing bilingual leadership training, conducting research, developing practical resources for faith leaders, and offering consulting services.
With a Ph.D. in Leadership and three decades of global ministry experience, Elizabeth combines developmental theories, practical theology, and a commitment to youth thriving. Her work focuses on bridging academia and real-world ministry needs in multicultural settings.
Elizabeth's expertise extends to strategic planning, DEI, design thinking, and multicultural youth development. She has taught in higher education, presented at numerous conferences and lectures, published in academic and ministerial literature, and regularly contributes to podcasts, blogs, radio and TV shows, and magazines. Her forte lies in assisting organizations to develop strategies for relevance within Latino, Asian, and Indigenous communities, emphasizing intergenerational connections and collaborations with underserved groups. Elizabeth's passion lies in developing emerging leaders for the church and community, and she is grateful for the opportunity to fulfill her call to ministry and continuously learn from others.
