Sharing Your Congregational Story

We hear a lot these days about sharing stories, and the power of stories to communicate Kingdom truths. In Howard Vanderwells The Church of All Ages: Generations Worshiping Together, Jeff Barker suggests that we not just share Scriptural stories, or our own personal stories, but also our congregational story.
Brilliant.
Do your kids know the ways God has showed up in powerful ways in your church? Do they know how God has provided financially, healed relationships that had become marked by strife, and brought amazing leaders to your community?
I want to share more with my own kids, as well as the kids in my church, about how God is working (and has worked) in and through our church. What better way to help them not only understand Gods goodness, but also the power of Kingdom community?
