Research That Can Help You Achieve Your Goals in 2014

I love setting goals. On a ministry level, we at FYI have been working on some pretty exciting goals for 2014 and beyond. On a personal level, Dave and I take our kids out to a special annual “goal setting dinner” so the five of us can talk about our goals as individuals and as a family for the coming year.
That’s why I was so glad that the Harvard Business Review compiled 22 tips based on some important research on achieving your goals.
A few confessions. First, I haven’t clicked through all of the articles' links. Second, some of the research falls into the “common sense” category. Having said that, I found tips #2, #6, #14 to be especially helpful.
May the Lord give us wisdom to know the best goals for 2014, and may we be strengthened by God’s grace to accomplish those goals.
