Kenda's Case for Hope

Yesterday I talked about my friend, Kenda Creasy Deans, new book, Almost Christian: What the Faith of Our Teenagers is Telling the American Church. Her subtitle for the last chapter in a book that talks a lot about the anemic spirituality of kids today is her case for hope.
Why is she hopeful? Because kids arent satisfied with the watery version of faith and the gospel we place before them. They want more. They want a faith they can sink their teeth into.
In the midst of a lot of discouraging trends on teenagers, that gives me hope also. Kenda, I agree.
