A New Year with No Strings Attached

Brad M. Griffin | Jan 3, 2014

Often it feels like we have to earn every gift.

As if they all come with strings attached.

That may be the way life seems to operate, the way our relationships play out, and even the way ministry feels sometimes. Perhaps much of the time.

But as we head into 2014, our prayer for you and for the young people you love is that you—and all of us—will experience the freedom of grace this year. The freedom of giving and receiving with no strings attached.

Last year we shared the above video and this free discussion guide as part of our free 8-week Sticky Faith Every Day curriculum. This new year we’re hoping you’ll take the opportunity to download it again if you didn’t get the opportunity the first time. We hope you can use it with your students in 2014.

More than that, we hope we can keep dreaming together about what it might look like to live out God’s imagination of a new Kingdom. A Kingdom with no strings attached.

Grace to you this year.
