About Gene:

Gene Roehlkepartain is vice president of research and development for Search Institute, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit leader and partner with organizations around the world in discovering what kids need to succeed in their families, schools, and communities. Since joining Search Institute in 1991, he has held a number of roles and has been involved in many areas of the organization’s work, including its work on developmental assets, spiritual development, thriving, and family assets. He is the author of 17 books and more than 200 publications, including several in youth and family ministry.

Brad M. Griffin

Brad M. Griffin is the Associate Director of the Fuller Youth Institute, where he gets to develop research-based training for youth workers. In addition to coauthoring Sticky Faith and Deep Justice Journeys, Brad has authored or coauthored a number of youth ministry book chapters and journal articles. A native Kentuckian, Brad now lives in Pasadena with his wife Missy and their three children. After more than 15 years in youth ministry, he now volunteers at Mountainside Communion.
