One of the more interesting episodes of the hit TV series “Glee” was the “Grilled Cheesus” episode from a prior season.  At Fuller, we love thinking about the intersection between faith and culture, so it seemed natural to host a viewing of that particular episode and panel discussion afterwards with Dr. Chap Clark and Ralph Winter, a producer of films such as “X Men”.

While we aren’t allowed to air a recording of the actual episode, here’s a video of Chap and Ralph’s banter.

Whether you’re a Gleek or not, enjoy these thoughtful insights about “Grilled Cheesus”.

I used this episode in a class I teach at Abilene Christian Univ. called “Christianity in Culture” – in which we deal with the collision of faith and our culture and seeing art, film, music from a theological perspective – it was a perfect fit. Thanks for posting this video.

Great, Casey. I’m sure the “Grilled Cheesus” episode provoked lots of great conversation in your class. It sure did at Fuller last week!

I had just watched the video the day before SYMC and Chap spent some time talking about it during his track. It was a fun discussion.
