Intergenerational

At FYI this year we have a Sticky Faith Learning Cohort, a group of 12 specially invited churches who are learning from our College Transition Project and want to apply its findings to their youth ministry and overall church.

Andy Vis from Meredith Drive Church in Des Moines, Iowa, is one of the 12 youth pastors.  He sent me this article on intergenerational ministry that gives a short but insightful analysis of cultural and sociological trends that have contributed to the age segregation that exists in churches today.
