Dreams About Justice

In the last “Take 5″ from the National Network of Youth Ministries, Will Babilonia said something powerful:
“A quote that I have come to love is by author Thomas Friedman from his book, The World Is Flat: ‘Does your society have more memories than dreams or more dreams than memories?’ My senior pastor regularly asks our staff, ‘Do we as a church/ministry have more memories than dreams or more dreams than memories?’ What about you? How would you answer this question in light of your life and ministry?”
That is SUCH a great question. What dreams do you and your students have about justice?
When I think about justice dreams, I think about Martin Luther King, Jr. We at FYI have taken some of Dr. King’s powerful words about dreams and turned it into a Power Point show you can download for free and use any time with your students. Perhaps it will spark some dreams in your own context.
