My undergraduate capstone work was done on risk and resilience of urban youth, so I was immediately interested in Cynthia’s interview. Until recently I never fully considered risk and resilience for urban youth leaders. The challenge of our senses and understanding the realities, questions and stress that is the result of constant stress. The Good news that there are some personal safe care habits for healing and that God has a prescription and safe space with God and our community for us as urban youth worker to live and thrive. I was very encouraged and spiritually stimulated by the quality of Cynthia’s work and I am Look forward to hearing more from her in the future.
